It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas Scarves!

It's Christmas time at Scarves and More, and I am super excited to share our new designs for the year.  As long as we have been carry Christmas scarves, our best sellers have continued to sell quickly, such as our Oblong  Poinsettia and Bow on White and our Poinsettia and Bow on Black.    We keep those in stock and they outsell everything else we carry.  I'll bet there are 50 choirs or more all over the world doing cantatas in our lovely scarves!

This year, I am thrilled to introduce our new Holly line of scarves!  We carry them in gold, white, black and ivory.  They are catching up with our Poinsettia scarves in numbers sold.

We have so many designs that we can't feature them all here today, but if you love scarves, visit Scarves and More!

Next blog we are going to talk about COWL scarves!  See you then....

What is Pashmina?

We know they are a fashion
MUST,
 but what is Pashmina?

I'm so glad you asked!  Pashmina is a fine natural cashmere wool fiber, from the changthangi or Pashmina goat.  These goats are from the Himalayan mountain regions of Pakistan, Nepal, and  India. The Pashmina fiber is hand spun from the wool of these goats, and woven into fabric that has become very popular for scarves and wraps. For added softness, often the Pashmina fiber is blended with silk, making a very durable and comfortable accessory.  When purchasing  a Pashmina wrap, make sure you have at least 40 to 70 percent Pashmina wool. The higher the Pashmina content, the heavier the fabric. There are many fake pashmina  shawls sold that are really acrylic or viscose - which are nice accessories, just not true Pashminas.  You can find some true Pashmina and Pashmina/Silk blends at Scarves and More.

Leaves everywhere!

One trend in scarf fashions is to wear leaves on your scarf.  I have a couple of scarves and really stand out in that area.  One of my favorites is an oblong scarf found at Scarves and More.Net, on this page.  It is one of the prettiest fall scarves I have seen yet, and it goes with not only brown and tans, but black too.  Add the fact that it is hand washable satin, and it's a winner in my book anyday!

West Germany Scarf Clips make a comeback!

In the world of fashion, you never know what is going to make a comeback. It seems that something makes a big hit, then it goes away for a while, but if it is truly a classic item, it will often make a new entry into the fashion world. That has been the way scarf clips have done. Right now, West Germany clips are all the rage, and a few items you can find at Scarves and More.net will show you why!

My favorite of the West Germany clips is this pretty silver and mother-of pearl clip. What I like about this style of clip, is that it has a hinged ring on the back, and it slides onto my scarf so easily. I have no knots to mess with, and it stays put! The back looks like similar to this Jeri-Lou clip

I am a scarf fanatic, so all these scarf clips make my wardrobe pop. I can wear a fancy one, or a plain one, and either way, my outfit looks great. Thanks, Scarves and More, for carrying so many of my favorites!
