Well, my blog is going, and I'm ready to announce something new: a discount! Yup, I love Independence day, or Freedom Day. I am a Navy wife (ret.) and I am also a Navy Mom. I celebrate the freedoms that were fought for by brave men and women, and I celebrate the Declaration of Independence, as well as our constitution.

So, I am celebrating this weekend with a big sale - 20% off everything in the Scarves and More.net boutique. Plus there is a special on shipping, Priority upgrade is only 4 cents!

The cutest new shawl has just been added, it has butterflies on it!

Oh, and there is a fantastic selection of scarf clips that was just added, they are New Old Stock clips, brand new clips from the vintage era!

Happy Independence Day!

New Scarf Fashions for 2009

Well, I did it!
I finally started a blog! This is going to be fun, I can share my excitement over all the new scarf fashions.
First I want to tell you about my favorite summer scarf. It is lightweight fringed rayon, with an animal print. It comes in purple, brown, teal and my personal favorite, green.
I found it at

Many of my friends like the teal best, my daughter likes the purple. I guess my green eyes draw me to the green one.

One of the most popular scarves around these days is the Shemagh scarf, which is a big square black and white houndstooth checkered scarf with fringe.

I love the one I found at Scarves and More Shemaghs
It comes in lots of colors, too!

I will be blogging more soon - maybe about scarf clips! I am new at this, but I love scarves, so it is going to be lots of fun!
